Endicia for Mac Walk through:
FileMaker Contact Management Export
This walkthrough takes you through the steps of modifying the "Contact Management" database that ships with FileMaker Pro 6. Your own mileage may vary depending on the version of filemaker you use, and if you've constructed your own database from scratch. We cannot provide support for using FileMaker Pro. This walkthrough is provided only as an example. You may download a sample file (that has already had Step 1 applied to it), here.
Step 1: Create a Combined First and Last Name Field
Choose "Define Fields" from the "File" menu.
Create a new calculated field that combines the first and last names.
Step 2: Export Records
Choose "Export Records..." from the "File" menu.
Name the file and adjust the field order.
Step 3: Import into Endicia
Choose the appropriate import options; FileMaker Pro does not include a header row, and I am choosing to overwrite any existing imported records. Choosing "Append" would add the records (creating duplicates, if duplicate records already exist).
Step 4: Select the Address from the Drawer
That's it. You've imported addresses and are ready to print.
