Dymo Troubleshooting
I cannot get my Dymo Printer to work with
Endicia for Mac.
You must be running version 6.1.1 or better of the Dymo drivers. They
are available at www.dymo.com under Support.
My Dymo printer isn't printing in Endicia
nor the DYMO application.
What could be wrong?
In the initial installation of the DYMO software,
the USB cable has to be directly connected to the computer and not running
thru a hub. If it was not, deinstall the software. Then connect the label writer
directly to the computer and install the DYMO software. If you run it through
a hub on the initial installation, the drivers do not install correctly. Once
the initial installation is done, you'll have the option to switch it over
to a hub.
When I finish printing on my Dymo printer,
a window pops up and says Thank you for using Endicia. How do I get
rid of it?
Endicia for Mac uses the Dymo program to print. It's this program that is
popping up the window, and instead of a blank one, we've added a thank you to
it. That Dymo program can be hidden, preventing that annoying pop up from appearing.
When you click on that Dymo program, it will appear next to the apple on the
menu bar. Click on it, then click on Hide Dymo Label. This will drop it down
to the dock and discontinue popping up on the screen after printing
